The sea plane service operated by Srilankan Airlines is set to extent its operation to the eastern town of Batticoloa from early next week, officials said today.
They added that the take-off point will be from a location on the Kelaniya River at Peliyagoda.
At present the sea plane operates from Colombo to Koggala in the Galle District, Bentota, Nuwara-Eliya, and Kandy, they said.
