Matara group corr
Eighteen persons in Izadeen Town and Pamburana, Matara were rounded up by the Matara Municipal Council Public Health Department officials for maintaining dengue mosquito breeding places in their premises, during a recent raid.
They were produced before the magistrate who imposed a fine of Rs 1,500 each on 10 of them and postponed the verdict in respect of the other eight persons for another date.
