This man carrying a load of firewood was captured by our photographer crossing the Southern Expressway, which is scheduled to be opened on November 27. After apparently collecting the firewood from the other side of Sri Lanka’s first super highway, he is pictured here quietly making it across to where his house is located close to the exit point at Panadura.
