Drugs issued to Jaffna Teaching hospital have passed into the hands of private pharmacies in Jaffna, it is alleged. This came to light when the officers of Jaffna Health department conducted a check in Jaffna recently.
A private pharmacy at Ariyakulam Jaffna was found to possess medical drugs with the government emblem. The Health Department officers handed over the drugs to Jaffna police for investigation.
