හෙට වෙනුවෙන් අද විදුලි බලය සුරැකීමේ ජාතික සද්කාර්යයට සමගාමීව විදුලි බල හා බලශක්ති අමාත්‍යංශයේ මෙහෙයවීම මත ලංකා විදුලි බල මණ්ඩලය හා ලංකා විදුලි පුද්ගලික සමාගම එක්ව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ලක්ෂ 46ක් වන ගෘහස්ථ විදුලි පාරිභෝගිකයන්ට සහභාගි විය හැකි පරිදි, මාසයක් විදුලිය නොමි‍ලේ ලබාගත හැකි වැඩසටහනක් ලබන අප්‍රේල් මස 01 වනදා සිට ක්‍රියාත්මක කෙරේ.ගෘහස්ථ විදුලි බිල 2012 මාර්තු මාසයට සාපේක්ෂව 20අගයකින් අඩුකරගන්නා පාරිභෝගිකයින් මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා පූර්ණ සුදුසුකම් ලබයි. එමෙන්ම මාර්තු මාසයට සාපේක්ෂව 10කින් විදුලි බිල අඩුකරගන්නා ගෘහස්ථ විදුලි පාරිභෝගිකයින් සඳහාද සිය මාසික විදුලි බිලෙන් 50ක වට්ටමක් ලබා ගැනීමට හැකියාව ඇත. මේ සඳහා ඕනෑම ගෘහස්ථ විදුලි පාරිභෝගිකයෙකුට ලියාපදිංචි විය හැක. අප්‍රේල් මැයි හෝ ජූනි මාස තුනෙන් එක් මසක හෝ අදාළ අගයන්ගෙන් විදුලි බිල අඩු කර ගැනීමෙන් මාසයක් නොමි‍ලේ විදුලිය ලබා ගැනීමට හෝ විදුලි බිලෙන් 50ක වට්ටමක් ලබා ගැනීමට පාරිභා්ගිකයින්ට හැකියාව ඇත.
ඒ අනුව 20ක් විදුලිය ඉතිරි කරගත් විදුලි පාරිභෝගිකයින් 1000ක් කුසපත් ඇදීමක් මගින් තෝරා ගැනේ. ඔවුන් වෙත අදාළ මස විදුලිය සඳහා වන වියදම් ලංවිම හෝ ලෙකෝ ආයතන මගින් ලබා දේ. එමෙන්ම 10කින් විදුලිය ඉතිරි කරගන්නා ලංවිම හා ලෙකෝ පාරිභෝගිකයින් 5000ක් වෙනුවෙන් මාසික බිල්පතෙන් 50ක වට්ටමක් ලබාදීමට නියමිතයි.

අප්‍රේල් මස 1 වන දා සිට ලියාපදිංචි කටයුතු ආරම්භ කෙරේ. මෙම අනගි අවස්ථාවට සහභාගි වීම සඳහා පණිවිඩයක් එවීම මගින් ලියාපදිංචි විය හැකිය. ලංවිම පාරිභෝගිකයෙක් නම් ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා L හිස්තැනක් අංක 10කින් සමන්විත ගිණුම් අංකය සඳහන් කර 0114338338 අංකයට SMS කළ යුතුය. ලෙකෝ පාරිභෝගිකයෙක් නම් ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා
ඥඵජ හිස්තැනක් අංක 10 කින් සමන්විත ලෙකෝ ගිණුම් අංකය සඳහන් කර 0714643643 අංකයට SMS කළ යුතුය.

මෙම තරගය පිළිබඳව වැඩි විස්තර, අප්‍රේල් මස 01 වැනිදා සිට මුද්‍රිත මාධ්‍ය ඔස්සේ පළකෙරෙන අතර 02 වනදා සිට සියලුම මාධ්‍ය ඔස්සේ විකාශය කෙරේ. නැතහොත් ලංවිම හෝ ලෙකෝ ප්‍රාදේශීය විදුලි ඉංජිනේරු කාර්යාල මගින් වැඩි විස්තර ලබාගත හැකිය. අප්‍රේල් මස 01 වැනිදායින් පසු ක්ෂණික දුරකතන ඇමතුම් 1901,1987 හෝ 1910 ඔස්සේද මේ පිළිබඳව වැඩි විස්තර ලබාගත හැකි බව විදුලිබල හා බලශක්ති අමාත්‍යංශය අවධාරණය කරයි.


Save 20 percent and get electricity free

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has launched a program to supply electricity free for selected consumers who save over 20 percent on their electricity bills, during April, May and June.

The program introduced by the Power and Energy Ministry in keeping with the 'Conserve energy today for tomorrow' concept calls upon its 4.6 million power consumers to participate in their energy saving effort.

Households which show a 20 percent reduction in their April, May or June bills compared to the March bill will be eligible to apply for a free power supply for one month. Those who reduce their consumption by 10 percent will also be eligible for a 50 percent discount on their bills.

One-thousand consumers entitled to free electricity for a month will be selected in a raffle draw and their bill payments will be refunded by the CEB or LECO under the program while 5,000 consumers who reduce their bills by 10 percent will be entitled to a 50 percent discount.

To register for the program, CEB consumers can type L and sms to 0714643643.

Bonanza to consumers who conserve power

Consumers of electricity who cut down on their power consumption are in for a bonanza, courtesy the Power and Energy Ministry.

The jackpot in the scheme is an offer of electricity gratis for one month. To qualify, consumers should reduce their power consumption by 20%. There are consolation ‘prizes’ as well for those who reduce their bill by 10% as they will be entitled to a hefty 50% off their monthly commitment, official sources said.

The Ministry advises consumers to switch off at least one light between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm in their homes. Prior registration via SMs is required to make use of this opportunity, the sources said.Focusing on the message ‘Today for tomorrow – National cause to save electricity’, the Ministry is in the process of inserting newspaper advertisements to create awareness amongst the public on the benefits of conserving electricity.
