පාඩු ලබන හා අසාර්ථක ව්යාපාර රජයට පවරා ගැනීම සඳහා වන ඌන කාර්ය සාධන ව්යාපාර හා ඌන උපයෝජිත වත්කම් යළි යථා තත්ත්වයට පත්කිරීමේ පනත් කෙටුම්පත පිළිබඳ ශ්රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණ තීන්දුව කථානායකවරයා විසින් අද (8 දා) පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී ප්රකාශයට පත්කිරීමට නියමිතය. පසුදින එනම් හෙට (09 දා) දිනයේදී මෙය හදිසි පනතක් ලෙස දිනය පුරා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ විවාදයට ගෙන එදිනම ඡන්දය විමසීමට නියමිතව ඇත.
අසාර්ථක ව්යාපාර හා දේපොළ 37 ක් රජය විසින් හඳුනාගෙන ඇති අතර එම ආයතන පවරා ගැනීමට මෙම පනතින් බලය ලැබෙනු ඇත.

Speaker to announce SC decision on controversial bill today
Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa is due to announce to Parliament today the Supreme Court decision on the Expropriation Bill titled Revival of Under-performing Enterprises and Under-utilised Assets Act.
The Bill, placed under the Urgent category, would be taken up for a full day debate tomorrow and the vote on the bill too would be taken the same evening, parliament sources said.
The proposed Bill that would pave the way for takeover of under utilized and under performing business ventures either situated on State property or had enjoyed State benefits, needed only a simple majority in parliament to be passed, sources added.
