Milch cows to low income families

The Bodhiraja Foundation in Embilipitiya has organised a religious activity to provide 100 milch cows among 100 low income families, to invoke blessings on the President and establish peace in the country, Southern Province Sangha Nayaka Most Ven Omalpe Sobhitha Thera said.

The event will be held at Bodhirajaramaya on April 5.The cows were released from being slaughtered with donations from Singapore and Taiwan devotees, the cost of which exceeds Rs 2 million, the thera said.

It is expected to eradicate conspiracies of some foreign countries, human rights accusations and other threats by this religious activity, the thera said.
