President Mahinda Rajapaksa will distribute 10,000 land deeds and permits to people representing 11 district Secretariat areas in Moneragala district in the Uva Province at a ceremony to be held on January 27 at 10.00 a.m., at Moneragala Pradeshiya Sabha playgrounds.
At this occasion 6290 farmers will get ‘Ran bima’ deeds and permits and rubber cultivation agreements. In addition 865 families from the Badulla District too will be given deeds for their lands. Also he will give selected farmer families in Siyabalanduwa, ownership certificates.
The programme is arranged by Uva Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksa under the Supervision of Provincial Secretary P. B. Amarasekera and Moneragala District Secretary A. Pathinathan.
