Development and Janatha Estate Development Ministry expects to promote coconut based tourism called Coco tourism in collaboration with Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Coconut Development and Janatha Estate Development Minister Jagath Pushpakumara said.
"Today there is a big demand for eco friendly tourism," Minister Pushpakumara said.
Ministry had adopted several measures to develop coconut cultivation and coconut related industries in the country by providing financial and technical assistance to both cultivators and producers, the Minister said.
