අමාත්යාංශයට අයත් නොවන ගොඩනැඟිලි වෙනුවෙන් විදුලිබල හා බලශක්ති අමාත්යාංශය පසුගිය මාස දහය (ජනවාරි - ඔක්තෝබර්) සඳහා රුපියල් එක්කෝටි හතළිස් ලක්ෂ අසූ හත්දහස් හාරසිය හතළිස් හයක් කුලී ලෙස ගෙවා ඇතැයි විදුලිබල හා බලශක්ති නියෝජ්ය ඇමැති ප්රේමලාල් ගුණසේකර මහතා ඊයේ (15 දා) පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී ප්රකාශ කළේය.
එකී ගොඩනැගිලි සඳහා 2010 වසරේදී රුපියල් එක්කෝටි හැටඑක් ලක්ෂ තිස්දහස් හයසිය හතළිස් හතරක කුලියක් ගෙවා තිබෙන බවද නියෝජ්ය ඇමැතිවරයා කීවේය.
වසර පහක් සඳහා කුලියට ගෙන තිබෙන මෙම ගොඩනැඟිලි සඳහා පසුගිය ජුනි මස දක්වා ගෙවා තිබෙන්නේ වර්ග අඩියකට වැට් රහිතව රුපියල් 67.89 ක බදු මුදලක් වන අතර ඉන්පසු එය රුපියල් 76.04 දක්වා ඉහළ දැමූ බවද හෙතෙම කීය.
එමෙන්ම අමාත්යාංශය 2011 වසර සඳහා වාහන කුලියට ගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් රුපියල් දොළොස් ලක්ෂ අසූ දෙදහස් නවසිය පනස් දෙකක් වැයකර ඇතැයි කී නියෝජ්ය ඇමැතිවරයා අමාත්යාංශය සතුව 2011 වසරේ පවතින වාහන 59 න් වාහන 04 ක් කුලියට ලබාගත් වාහන බවද කීවේය.
අමාත්යාංශ ගොඩනැඟිලි පරිශ්රය අලංකරණය සඳහා බාහිරින් ලබාගන්නා පවිත්රතා සේවාව වෙනුවෙන් රුපියල් දසලක්ෂ විසිඅටදහස් එකසිය හැටක් වසරකට ගෙවන බවද ගොඩනැඟිලි පරිශ්රය අලංකරණය වෙනුවෙන් වසරකට රුපියල් අනූඑක්දහස් අටසියක පිරිවැයක් දරන බවද නියෝජ්ය ඇමැතිවරයා ප්රකාශ කළේය.
කොළඹ දිස්ත්රික් එජාප මන්ත්රී රවී කරුණානායක මහතා ඇසූ පැනයකට පිළිතුරු දෙමින් නියෝජ්ය ඇමැති ප්රේමලාල් ජයසේකර මහතා ඉහත ප්රකාශය කළේය.

Power Ministry paid over Rs 14 mn as rent for 10 months
The Power and Energy Ministry had paid a sum of Rs 14,087,446.56 as rent for the building that housed it for the ten months, from January to October this year, Parliament was told yesterday.
Power and Energy Deputy Minister Premalal Gunasekera said that the total cost for renting or leasing of buildings, which are not owned by the ministry, stood at Rs 16,130,644.00.
Responding to a question raised by UNP Colombo District MP Ravi Karunanayake, the deputy Minister said that the square foot rate of rented or leased buildings stood at Rs 67.89 without VAT until last June and since then it had been increased to Rs 76.04.
The ministry had paid a total of Rs 1,282,952 on hiring or leasing four vehicles, which do not belong to the ministry, this year. The ministry’s fleet of vehicles is 59 at the moment and four of them have been hired.
The Deputy Minister also said that a sum of Rs 91,800 for beautification and an additional sum of Rs 1,028,160 for janitorial services in the buildings belonging to the Power and Energy Ministry had been paid. (SI)
