The world today is witnessing a frantic race to harness power and energy for rapid economic development in the case of developing countries and for continuing economic and military dominance by certain rich countries. Amongst these countries are also some that have not been able to harness natural resources to produce sufficient wattage of electricity so that per capita consumption would reach all households in such countries.
During the past several decades attempts mainly to exploit hydro power to generate electricity was thought to be the most sustainable and cheapest method but today the emerging scenario is changing in diversification of sources of power for electricity.
