Radio active levels in sea water to be tested

Radio active levels in sea water of the Sri Lankan territory are to be tested by the Atomic Energy Authority. The tests will be conducted as a routine practice by the Bio-Unit of the Authority, sources from the Authority disclosed. It will be done a long term project to ensure that Sri Lankan sea waters are not contaminated with any radio active substance. A delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow to assist in the design of this novel this project,they added.
